As much as I love giving gifts, even more so, I love making gifts to give!  One of my favorite DIY gifts is a spa day gift basket, perfect for allowing those to pamper themselves year round.  While the tutorial I'm about to share would be better suited for your mom, friend, sister, or grandma, you can certainly change things up a bit to make a spa basket for the guys in your life too.

Since I made this with the ladies in mind, I focused on what we like to use to pamper ourselves and put our best face forward.  Here's what you'll need to replicate this spa basket:
- Basket
- Basket Filler Paper
- Body Lotion
- Sugar Scrub
- Loofah
- Nail Polish
- Milk Bath
- Scrubber
- Philips Sonicate 2 Series
Before you get started filling your basket, keep in mind what you'll be filling it with.  You'll want to make sure you find a basket that's large enough to fit everything, but not too large so it all fits just right.  Once you have your basket, fill it with some gift basket paper fill to give it a fuller effect and to raise your items up a bit so they can be seen.
Place your spa items into the gift basket, with the larger boxes towards the back and the smaller objects in the front.
If you have a feature product that you want to attract attention to, place that in the middle.  My grandma has been wanting a Sonicare toothbrush for a while, so I'll be surprising her with one in her spa basket this year!  I decided on the 2 series since it removes up to 6x more plaque than a manual toothbrush and the new black and white handle color I saw at Walmart caught my eye!
Once you fill the basket you can either gift it as is, or sometimes you can find gift basket clear wrapping paper in the craft isle to tie it all together.

Will you be giving a DIY gift this year? I'd love to hear your DIY gift ideas as well!
