Every year around Christmas I look forward to enjoying my family's homemade peppermint cookies. We usually make a variety of regular chocolate chip with peppermint and dark chocolate with peppermint and both never last more than a day! They're so good. I've been on a white chocolate kick lately, so I decided to give one of my favorite
holiday cookie recipes a little twist.
First of all, let me just say my version of the peppermint cookies includes a quick hack with ready to bake dough (hello, time saver!) and Nestle Toll House morsels to make this an easy holiday dessert. You only need those two ingredients for the best, quick creamy white chocolate coated peppermint cookies.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 pack NESTLÉ® Toll House Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cookie Dough
2 cups NESTLÉ® Toll House White Chocolate Morsels
WHAT YOU DO
Place the refrigerated cookie dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 11 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Place 2 cups of white chocolate morsels in a microwave safe mixing bowl, and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring occasionally, until melted. Once cookies are cooled, dip half of each cookie into melted white chocolate, then allow to cool on wax paper for about 20 minutes.
Let chocolate coating harden, then serve.
This makes the perfect addition to your holiday party desserts as well since it's so easy to make!
There are also a limited number of NESTLÉ® Toll House coupons available, so if you want to save, be sure to get your coupon here before they're gone.
