Since we're already on the subject of music around here this week with the LSU gameday tailgating playlist I shared on Tuesday, let's keep the music trend going, shall we!?
I've mentioned it before, but I'll say it again. I'm a huge music fan, and I like all music. Pop, rock, rap, EDM, country, you name it, I'll play it. Just because I enjoy listening to almost every genre doesn't mean I can't be selective though. I find my favorites from each category and I'm known for playing them on repeat.
This week, with all things football on my mind, and just returning from Louisiana, I have my new country music playlist on repeat. The newest artist addition to my playlist is Pete Scobell, an ex Navy SEAL turned country music's newest star.
I love reading background stories on how artists got where they are today, and the Pete Scobell Band story is nothing short of amazing. While recovering from a brain injury, Pete Scobell continued his musical journey and used his talents to help rehabilitate himself. His recovery tells a powerful story, the same story that can be heard through his songs on his new album, Walkin A Wire. If you're looking for something new to add to your playlist, I encourage you to check this out!
In celebration of the new album, one lucky reader will have the chance to win a special signed copy of Pete Scobell's new album, plus the chance to win an Orca cooler (valued at $269)!
