No matter how busy or on the go life gets, I make sure to find a little bit of time for myself. It's what keeps me in check. One thing that I dislike more than most girls is taking time to paint my nails. It's something I never feel I have time to do, which I guess explains why they haven't been painted for weeks now. When I do paint them, I feel so much better though, like more feminine I guess you could say, and I enjoy it. When I take time for myself, I'm always more relaxed and feel put together. Once I noticed the little things as simple as painting my nails made me feel better and less stressed, I made it a goal to treat myself more often, whether it be doing something to make me feel pretty, indulging, buying something new, or a combination of it all. We do so much in our lives for others and it's important to not forget about ourselves, but sometimes our friends need a little encouragement to take some 'me' time too. A little random act of kindness such as giving a simple gift can make all the difference for a busy friend that could use a treat yourself day. This mason jar gift tumbler is something your friends would love.

WHAT YOU NEED :: To make this DIY treat yourself gift, you will need a large mason jar tumbler , a few items to pack inside, and some ribbon for decoration. I chose to go with a theme along the lines of treat yourself to a mani/pedi day, so I filled the tumbler with nail polish, a nail file, a foot file, some lip balm, a
nd a Skinny Cow® Blissful Truffle Candy Bar, because who doesn't love something chocolatey!?
WHAT YOU DO :: This is a complicated one, y'all. Fill your chosen items, like polish and truffle bars into the mason jar tumbler, close the lid, and add your ribbon. See, I told you it was hard!
I personally like to indulge in all the chocolatey goodness during my me time. There's nothing better than pampering yourself while enjoying
low fat ice cream treats, in my opinion. Sunday evenings are usually when I have my me day. It's the one day I leave free on my weekly schedule so there are no excuses! Designating a block of time in your day will help you designate time for yourself without any surprise obligations.
I found this week's me time Skinny Cow treats conveniently at Walmart while I searched for a new spring nail polish. It was relaxing and helped start my week off in a relaxing way!
Do you make time to treat yourself? What's your favorite thing to do during your me time?
