The One Thing I Could Never Give Up + A Giveaway

Kozy Shack Simply Well Tapioca Pudding
If I had to give up something for lent, it would be anything but snacks.  Wait, let me rephrase that. The one thing I could never give up for lent would be food.  Any kind, size, shape, variety, you name it. I don't think I could give it up.  I'm a terrible Catholic according to the Catholic rule book, but considering I haven't given something up for lent in well over five years, that fact has been well established years ago.  When I did routinely give up something for lent every year, it was always something I knew I could go without, but it would be hard.  Perhaps that's kind of cheating, but hey, I tried.  Food was never one of them.

I'm not sure how people who give up things like candy and carbs can actually go that long without cheating.  If you're one of those people, you're awesome and possess more will power over food than I'll ever see in my life.

Because I love food, but still need some sort of balance in my life, I satisfy my cravings and sweet tooth with something  more guilt free.  It's how I justify not fully eliminating sweets out of my life completely.  On days when I crave sweets like cake, cookies, or ice cream, I'll grab something like pudding instead. Kozy Shack Simply Well® Tapioca Pudding is only 90 calories, gluten free, and has no added sugar.

Practicing better for you snacking allows me to satisfy the urge while doing minimal damage.  It kicks the sweet cravings to the curb without the need to scarf down an entire candy bar.  I get those sweet cravings often, which probably explains why I could never give up such a thing like food, but I've found a balance and this is what works for me.

Is there something you could never give up?  What would it be?
