This past Halloween weekend, Texas got its first real taste of fall. I say this like all the other days that have occurred so far in the season never existed, but when you only have one semi "cool" day followed by temps in the 90s a day later, it doesn't count. That's southern bipolar weather at its finest. But since Dallas managed to stay below 70 degrees for more than one day, I'll cheers to that! This weekend couldn't have been more gorgeous. It was the perfect time to bust out the flannel, boots, and leggings and take obligatory photos, and that I did!
After our Halloween Friday night filled with candy, poodle pumpkin cuddles, Halloween music, and tv overload, we were ready to take on the next part of our "do all the fall things" weekend. On Saturday, Chris and I headed to the
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden to indulge in the fall goodness known as the Pumpkin Village. This place is basically any fall lovers dream, with over 65,000 pumpkins. Yes you heard that right! There were
so many pumpkins! I counted over 50 photos on my iPhone from this trip, but I'll save you from all of that and limit myself to posting eight.
If you're ever in the Dallas area, I highly recommend planning a visit here! I think this will be my new fall tradition!
How was your Halloween weekend!? Do you have a favorite fall tradition?
