I dream of all things bright, white, and airy. One day when I finally get my blog/jewelry designing office room, I will have all things white, gold, and bright. I just know it. But until then, I'll keep pinning away all my favorites and tossing them around on this blog. Here's what I've been lusting over lately that would make the perfect bright space. I mean, that chair. Enough said.
Speaking of Anthropologie, I have a pretty cool chick y'all need to meet. Her name is Libby and you can find her over at
Health, Love, & Fire. Today she's answering a few questions to help y'all get to know her a little better AND she's giving away a $25 gift card to Anthropologie. Isn't she awesome or what!? Head on over and tell her hi and be sure to give her a big thank you for supporting your latest shopping spree!
Hi, I'm Libby and I blog over at Health, Love & Fire. I was so excited to sponsor The Southern Thing this month and to be able to share a little bit about me with all of you!
Why did you start a blog?
I started a blog right as I was starting a new job. I was leaving a job that was my comfort zone, where a had made a bunch of really great friends and starting something new and different. Starting this blog was a way for me to share about my life and my day, as if I was chatting with a former coworker over tea in the morning as we started our day. From there, I just sort of got hooked on blogging and on the friendships and connections it provided.
How would you best describe your blog?
My blog is a little bit of everything me. I share my day to day exciting life, or not so exciting life, our wine making adventures, recipes, parties, travels and just a little bit of everything. My husband and I love to try new things and get bored just sitting at home, so this blog documents all our adventures whether they be as small as a canning recipes to something larger like building our new home. I'm always looking for new friends and new blogs to follow, so make sure you stop by and say hello!
What is your most favorite post you've ever written?
This question keeps getting more difficult as the number of posts I have keep increasing. But one of my favorite posts was about hosting my best friend's gender reveal party for their twins. I love party planning, and it was so much fun creating every detail of this fun day! You can check out that entire part post Here.
If you could only shop at one store for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
This is a really tough question. If I had an unlimited amount of money it would definitely be Anthropolgie because I absolutely love that store, as you can see from this post where I talked about me wanting to move in to the store Check out why I wanted to move in HERE. . But if I had to work with my own budget, I would probably say Target. You can get anything from groceries and wine to clothes and home decode. Its a one stop shop, and with my love for change(just ask my husband, I'm constantly redecoration), being able to get nearly everything I want in one place works perfect for me!
What are you most looking forward to?
Moving in to our new house! We are currently in the process of building a home and I cannot wait to see it all finished and be able to move in! Especially with our current living situation: Small home, bad part of town, annoying roommate, even more annoying roommate's dog. . . . makes me thrilled to see more and more get done on our new home! It has been so fun to make all the choices for our home, and I'm crossing my fingers it all looks just as good when it's together! C'mon November, get here sooner!
