If an overload of food pictures are your thing, then you've come to the right place today. This weekend was what I like to call adventures in food land. It all started when the man and I decided it would be a good idea to drive to Oklahoma for some crab legs. Did I mention how much I like crab legs? I didn't think so ;) To give you an idea of just how much I like them, we drove over two hours to get some. That's lovely Dallas traffic for ya. The place is supposed to be a little over an hour away, but nope, not on a Friday evening! Sure, there's seafood places around Dallas that has them, but not all you can eat. That's what happens when you're from Louisiana and have been spoiled with seafood you're entire life. Three crab clusters just won't cut it. You need them all.
If you're from here, I'm sure you're all well aware and took advantage too, but for those who are not, let me explain. The weather the past few days was amazing. I'm talking 65 in the morning and in the 70s during the day. That my friends is rare for Texas in July. It just doesn't happen. So Chris and I did what any patio obsessed person would do and took advantage.
Obviously a peach margarita, chips, salsa, and queso- per usual, were needed.

We decided to give Chuy's a try. I'm not quite sure how it's even possible to pick a Mexican place in Texas, but we somehow managed. When our waitress told us there's $5 margaritas and a free nacho bar with queso, might I add, during the week, we made a dinner date with her and promised to be back.

We're weird.
Soooo.. about those crab legs and that two hour drive to Oklahoma - we went to Winstar! I'm not a huge fan of gambling and casinos, but I am a fan of a buffet when there's seafood involved.
And plenty of it there was. It's like any crab lovers dream. All-you-can-eat, I repeat, all-you-can-eat. Enough said. #fatkidatheart
