I am beyond excited for this weekend because I can officially say I will be going skiing for the first time ever. My boo and I began planning this last minute trip last weekend and I can't believe this is finally happening. I've been wanting to do this since last year, since we finally have snow where we live, but somehow never got around to it. Although I'm pretty sure I'll look like a complete sh*t show on the ice (if it's anything like how I am ice skating) I am still beyond excited.
There's only one problem though: I know nothing about skiing. I'll be taking a lesson at the resort, so that part will be covered, but I'm not sure what I need to wear, bring, etc. I'm assuming all the basics will be necessary, such as a coat, boots, ear warmers, and gloves (le duh). But do I need snow pants? Are ski goggles a must? A helmet? And should I wear my hunter boots for walking in the snow or my real snow boots? Decisions decisions!
