This was my daily routine. Sorry to make any of you jealous, but I would be too. There was nothing better than sipping on some local strawberry beer while floating in the pool. I also got a pretty nice tan which I hadn't had in months. No complaining here!
Chris was even able to come in town one weekend, so we spent the time around our favorite spots in our hometown. I love how much water surrounds our little town. That is definitely something I never truly appreciated until I moved.
We also spent many evenings with my parents at one of my most recent favorite bars on the river drinking one too many fish buckets and enjoying some good live music. I've now decided my goal is to have my own boat one day. That is the life!
This is the bar we frequented pretty often. Part of it is a barge on the water where the bands play. Oh and did I mention there's a pool!? Whoever thought of that one is a genius!
Look close and you might see a baby gator at the bottom of this next picture ;) He likes fried pickles!
My momma!
And of course it wouldn't be a trip home without my Reggie boy (he's kind of talented), New Orleans, and food, food, and more food!
Jackson Square. This is my favorite, and in my opinion, the prettiest spot in the French Quarter!
I may or may not have eaten a crab leg dinner buffet about 6 times while I was home. No shame here, ladies!
Dome sweet dome. Who Dat! Any Saints fans out there!? Only a few more weeks!
Snowballs and pralines! Getting a snowball was probably a bad idea because I haven't stopped craving one since!
I just realized I overloaded you with about a million pictures, so I apologize. I think this one's a record for me. Let's just call it even for my lack of presence the past week+ around here. I've missed y'all!
